Privacy policy

Files and processing

FileFlow is designed to process supported files in your browser. Image, PDF, ZIP, CSV, JSON, text and QR operations run on your device. File contents for these operations are not uploaded to FileFlow servers.

OCR and external resources

When you choose OCR, FileFlow loads the Tesseract.js recognition engine and language data from its distribution/CDN infrastructure. Selected screenshots, images and PDF pages are rendered and processed in your browser; their contents are not sent to FileFlow's server for OCR. The PDF rendering library is served from this site's own hosting. OCR can misread text, so review the original documents.

Local storage

Saved presets and recent activity are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not synced to an account or another device. Clearing browser data removes them.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current FileFlow version does not intentionally use third-party analytics or advertising tags. If advertising, analytics, account features or cloud processing are added later, this policy must be updated before those features launch.

Security and limitations

Do not use a shared or untrusted device for sensitive documents. FileFlow does not guarantee that a receiving website or organisation will accept a processed file. Always check official requirements and retain originals.

Contact

There is no public support email configured yet. A contact channel should be added before a large public launch.
